Submissions
So you want to be a scarecrow, eh?...We accept submissions via email only [in body text and not as attachment] on all subjects, especially fiction, poetry, essays, reviews. If you have any ideas please pitch these to us as well; we are always on the lookout for new writing projects.
As you can probably tell there are no rules at scarecrow - if we like it it's in, and if we don't it's not. It's as simple as that. We like our fiction to have bite, we like our poetry to speak and we like our reviews to be honest - we aren't looking for the next Ian McEwan, Beat Poet or Dale Peck. Those of you who read scarecrow quite frequently will know exactly what we are looking for. We want writing that's willing to both anger and delight. We want our writers to be honest. Nothing more, nothing less.
